Master Your Money Through Spreadsheets

A practical approach to financial clarity using tools you already have

We've spent years working with people who feel overwhelmed by finance software. The truth is, you don't need complicated apps or expensive subscriptions. A well-designed spreadsheet can give you more control, better insights, and genuine understanding of where your money goes.

This program isn't about formulas for the sake of formulas. It's about building systems that work for your life—whether you're tracking household expenses, managing a small business, or planning for something bigger. You'll learn through real scenarios, not theoretical examples.

Starting in mid-2026, we're running cohorts designed for busy people. The focus is hands-on work with spreadsheets that solve actual problems. No fluff, no filler—just practical skills you can use immediately.

How the Program Unfolds

We break learning into manageable chunks spread over twelve weeks

1

Foundation Building

Weeks 1-2

Start with the basics but don't stay there long. You'll set up your first tracking sheet and learn why structure matters more than complexity.

  • Building your financial snapshot template
  • Understanding data organization principles
  • Creating categories that actually work
2

Transaction Management

Weeks 3-5

This is where most people struggle—keeping records current without it becoming a chore. We'll show you techniques that take minutes, not hours.

  • Efficient data entry methods
  • Automation using basic formulas
  • Import techniques for bank statements
3

Analysis & Insights

Weeks 6-8

Numbers are useless if you can't interpret them. You'll learn to spot patterns, identify problems early, and make decisions based on what your data actually says.

  • Building meaningful charts and visuals
  • Trend identification techniques
  • Creating dashboard views
4

Future Planning

Weeks 9-10

Once you understand where you've been, you can map where you're going. Learn to build forecasts that help rather than confuse.

  • Scenario planning spreadsheets
  • Budget projection techniques
  • Goal tracking systems
5

Customization & Optimization

Weeks 11-12

Your financial situation is unique. We'll help you adapt everything you've learned to fit your specific needs and challenges.

  • Tailoring templates to your situation
  • Advanced formula applications
  • Creating your personal system

Learn Alongside Others

Financial management can feel isolating. That's why we built this program around peer interaction. You're not just taking a course—you're joining a group of people working through similar challenges.

Each week includes group sessions where you'll share what's working, troubleshoot problems together, and learn from how others approach their spreadsheets. Some of the best insights come from seeing someone else's solution to a problem you didn't know you had.

Between sessions, you'll have access to a shared workspace where questions get answered quickly. Not by instructors alone—often by fellow participants who've just figured out the exact thing you're stuck on.

Weekly Group Work

Two live sessions per week where you'll collaborate on real spreadsheet challenges with other participants

Peer Reviews

Share your work and get feedback from others building their systems—often more valuable than instructor comments

Project Partners

Get matched with someone at a similar skill level to work through exercises and keep each other accountable

Community Access

Stay connected with your cohort after the program ends—many participants continue supporting each other

Questions at Each Stage

Here's what people typically ask as they consider and move through the program

Before Enrolling

Do I need to be good at math or have finance experience?

Not really. If you can add, subtract, and follow instructions, you're fine. We teach the spreadsheet skills from scratch and explain financial concepts as they come up. Most participants have never built anything beyond basic shopping lists in spreadsheets.

What software do I need? Will it work on Mac or PC?

You can use Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice—they all work. We provide templates for each. Most people use Google Sheets because it's free and works anywhere. Mac, PC, even tablets work fine, though a computer makes things easier.

How much time does this take each week?

Expect to spend about 4-6 hours weekly. That includes two live sessions (90 minutes each) plus time working on your own spreadsheets. Some weeks need more attention, others less. It's flexible—you can work at odd hours if that suits your schedule better.

During the Program

What if I miss a live session?

All sessions get recorded and posted within a few hours. You'll also get session notes summarizing key points. That said, live attendance helps—the discussions and troubleshooting happen in real-time and recordings can't capture everything.

Can I use my actual financial data in the exercises?

Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. The program works best when you're solving your real problems. Everything you build stays on your computer—we never ask you to upload sensitive information. If you prefer to use sample data for practice first, we provide that too.

What if I get stuck on something technical?

Between live sessions, you can post questions in the community space. We monitor it daily, and often other participants jump in with solutions. For urgent issues, there's also office hours twice weekly where you can get one-on-one help.

After Completion

Will I still have access to materials after the twelve weeks?

Yes. All templates, recordings, and resources stay accessible. The community space remains open too, though it's less active after your cohort finishes. Some graduates drop in months later to share updates or ask follow-up questions.

Can I join future sessions if I want to refresh my skills?

Graduates can audit future cohorts at no cost, space permitting. Many people do this—either to reinforce concepts or to see how we've updated the material. You won't get the same level of instructor attention as active participants, but you're welcome in the sessions.
